็15/10/12: Halfway Through…

by Ken

I haven’t written a full-blown blog post for a while, other than posting chapters. I have a busy life I guess. Everyone does. If only there were more hours in a day. Really, if I had something like 27 hours in a day instead of 24, you’d be able to do so much more.

Anyway, onto the post. I just realized that I’m about halfway through writing my novel, Revolution: Rise of Darkness, now. I’m planning for there to be around 30 chapters, and since I’m done with chapter 14, chapter 15 would mark the halfway point. It’s actually kinda surprising that I’ve been able to come this far with Revolution. Most of my previous attempts at (what I’d thought) was a novel was usually aborted after about three chapters. I guess that I was too young then, and so my determination and endurance level was still quite low. 🙂

Next week is time to celebrate an annual school holiday: the October Break. It’s great. You get a whole week off for no real reason. It isn’t Christmas, it isn’t New Year, it’s October Break. Love it. I really like school breaks, because it gives me breathing space between my homework, and it gives me precious time to write. I think I wasted my school break. I only managed a few chapters out, even though I could’ve done much more with so much time. Well, can’t blame myself I guess. The first few chapters were boring to write, boring to read, and it’s gonna be boring for me to edit.

Anyway…why did I even write this post?

I dunno. I guess I just felt the urge to write, even though there wasn’t anything to write about.

Oh well, cya all.
